Everyone Can Benefit from the Daily Use of FundAminos: Part 1

Here's why:

In order to be useful, a protein must first be digested, then absorbed, and finally utilized by the body for energy, repair, and recovery. Ideally, this process should be both rapid and complete. But the digestion and absorption of a meal takes several hours. And individual differences in digestive health and absorption rates can reduce the overall efficacy of dietary proteins as a source of essential amino acids. 

Some attempt to overcome their resulting protein deficit by simply eating more protein, or using protein powders. But consuming large amounts of dietary protein (over 1.5 grams per kilogram of body weight) on a regular, daily basis places a considerable amount of metabolic stress on the body; it takes a great deal of energy to digest and process protein. And the most recent research has linked the intake of excessive amounts of dietary protein to rapid aging and the onset of chronic disease.

How is FundAminos best used?

To insure rapid and complete absorption, it's important to take FundAminos alone with water and/or a small amount of juice. Dosing should be at least 30 minutes prior or two hours following a meal.

The foundational, daily dose is one scoop, either all at once or in ½ scoop increments taken twice daily in 12 to 16 ounces of fluid. This dose will provide 10 grams of essential amino acids, which is equivalent to 40 grams of dietary protein without added calories or metabolic stress. 

To support muscular activity and recovery, take one scoop prior to physical activity and consider a second scoop following sessions that are higher in duration or intensity.

To support endurance and recovery, use one scoop during and/or after physical activity. Consider a second scoop in the morning or later in the day, depending on your workout routine. On lighter training days, one scoop (daily) or ½ scoop (twice daily) will do the trick.

To enhance fat burning, use two scoops daily, splitting that amount into two, separate doses. Take one scoop prior to physical activity and one scoop prior and after a cold thermogenesis session two to three times weekly. Cold thermogenesis enhances fat metabolism and can be accomplished with a cold shower, ice bath, or cold-water swim for 20 to 30 minutes.

To support intermittent fasting protocols, use one scoop in the morning or early afternoon to maintain lean muscle mass and energy.
